I had a bit of trouble with the composition of this one. I can't quite put  my finger on it- but I know I wish I had a macro lens LOL

Back in the saddle

Well I basically gave up on my 365 project in May. But I want to get back to it- or as close as I possibly can.

Here is my photo of the day- the idea was "Favorite Toy".

I swear I haven't been slacking as much as it seems.

I have been semi- diligent about taking a picture every day. I had two to post in one day- and when I went to post on blogger- it was down for almost a full day. And then I didn't get back until now. So I have 3 photos to upload.

The latter is a part of a photoshoot I did with my nephews and niece. I really enjoyed it and I feel like I put some of my new knowledge to good use.

First Post!

I finally got my new camera, and I am challenging myself to a 365 Project. I would like to take one picture a day, and work on one challenge a week. This is my first photo.

This is a challenge that I was working on. The theme was Mother, in honor of Mother's Day. This photo was taken at Sawyer Homestead near my home in Monroe, MI.

I'm hoping this blog will keep me accountable. CC is definitely appreciated. I am looking to learn and improve!
